Fiberglass Art with Light from the Fort Lauderdale Airport

Fiberglass Art and Architecture

Welcome to American Fiberglass Art & Architecture

Discover the beauty of translucent fiberglass art and architecture. We create stunning pieces that elevate any space.

American Fiberglass specializes in translucent fiberglass art and architectural features. We’ve designed, engineered, and fabricated signature pieces across the U.S. and internationally for more than 40 years—delivering complex forms, rich color, and durable performance in demanding public environments.

We also work with structural and decorative metals, integrate lighting systems, and provide full design and engineering services for a truly turn-key project experience—from concept development and prototyping through fabrication, logistics, and installation coordination.

Our team is built for creating original work or collaboration with artists, architects, public agencies, and general contractors, with an emphasis on local sensibilities. Beyond art, the practical considerations of production schedule reliability and long-term serviceability are no less important.

Clarke Riedy — Master Sculptor

Clarke Riedy brings fifty years of sculptural mastery to every commission he undertakes. Trained in the Renaissance Atelier tradition and grounded by study in light and spatial perception, Clarke personally sculpts every work from initial concept through final form. His public commissions include landmark installations  — from Sky Harbor International Airport to the State Capitol grounds — and his engagement with fiberglass as a fine art medium dates to 1978, making him one of its earliest serious practitioners. Over the past three years, his continued development of new fiberglass techniques has unlocked the material's remarkable capacity for light and color, expanding the expressive range of monumental sculpture in ways few artists have explored.

Whether the goal is a landmark sculptural statement, a transit or streetscape enhancement, or an illuminated architectural feature, we bring the passion, expertise and project discipline.
